    Answer me this...

Curious... Anyone ever done one of those diets where you pay a fortune and they bring you pre-packaged and cooked meals for youy day or week to your door?

I just saw a commercial for eDiets.com's new program like this and it made me curious is all. I could never afford to do something like that but I was just curious if the food is any good, if it's really useful...?

haven't done it. I know someone who has done it-- but not this one. there are several in the LA area and there is one by Jackie Keller in LA who is one of the best chefs around (nutrifit) and she's amazing. it's so freaking good -- unbelieveable. Uma Thurman had her food for post partum weight loss

Yep, I did it when I lived in San Diego a few years ago. I think it was the Zone Diet, the same one that Jennifer Aniston was doing. It was hella expensive. The only reason I could afford it was because I was living at my elderly Dad's house rent free, taking care of him. I remember it being at least $700 bucks a month, probably more. The food was excellent, like it had just been brought out of a chef's kitchen. It was delivered to my front door by 6 a.m. in a hot bag every morning. I lost 10 pounds during that one month I decided to try it. I of course immediately gained back the weight after I quit buying the food.

yes but you didn't have to buy any groceries for yourself-- no preparation which saves time. I personally wouldn't do zone because that was expensive but I know that today at the prices in the market, if you did prepared frozen meals and desserts and some of the stuff for breakfast, that's easily 125 a week if include the fruit, veggies, calcium, and other things you need to fix the meals. That's at least 500 a month.
The fact that you don't have to go to a market and it comes to you- saves time and gas.
